For Immediate Release:

BELLEVUE, Wis. (March 22, 2024) – Green Bay ER & Hospital, the first micro-hospital in Wisconsin, hosted an Open House last week at 2465 Monroe Road. Hundreds of curious locals attended to get an exclusive first look at the state-of-the-art facility. The hospital aims to foster a deep connection with the local community as it sets to open later this Spring.

The two-day event featured a Medical Community Open House, which brought over 30 medical professionals from local healthcare systems, clinics, and agencies, and over 200 Bellevue community members, who received an exclusive preview of the new neighborhood ER & hospital.

The Community Open House welcomed many notable guests, like the Village of Bellevue Administrator, Benjamin Krumenauer, the Village of Bellevue Trustee, Jackie Krull, and members of the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, County Rescue, Green Bay Metro Fire Department, and Superior Ambulance Service. The event was also covered by the local media outlets NBC 26, WFRV, Green Bay Press Gazette, Yahoo, MSN, and Beckers Hospital Review.

“Our open house was a success with a great turnout from the Green Bay Community. The event allowed us to share our vision of offering all patients who come through our door a personalized experience with compassionate care, featuring board-certified physicians, patient education, and results in hand to share with the primary care provider,” said Sonja Hansen, Facility Administrator at Green Bay ER & Hospital.

All guests received a special VIP tour of the highly anticipated facility and were able to ask the hospital administration any questions regarding their new community ER & hospital.

Green Bay ER & Hospital is on a mission to provide comprehensive, patient-centered emergency care and make the micro-hospital a standout of excellence and innovation in Bellevue and beyond.

“I am so excited to be a part of something so special. Green Bay ER & Hospital is the first of its kind in the State of Wisconsin,” said Bridgette Dollhopf, RN, the Nursing Lead at Green Bay ER & Hospital. “It’s rewarding to know each patient will experience dedicated bedside service unique to their needs to enhance positive outcomes.”

Green Bay ER & Hospital is projected to open its doors for 24/7 emergency medical services in April 2024.

“When it comes to an ER visit, patients have a choice in their care. We look forward to showing patients a different, positive experience at Green Bay ER & Hospital,” said Hansen.
