BELLEVUE, Wis. (April 1, 2024) – Green Bay ER & Hospital is officially open and providing the community with the next level of innovative emergency medical services. Starting today, the first micro-hospital in Wisconsin will begin seeing patients 24/7, 365 days a year, providing year-round access to unparalleled outpatient and inpatient medical care. The facility is conveniently located at 2465 Monroe Road, off State Highway 172.

Founded by board-certified emergency room physicians and Nutex Health Inc., Green Bay ER &  Hospital has opened with the mission to put patients first and offer a concierge-level emergency care experience to all—offering advanced clinical, pediatrics, imaging, and laboratory service to the community.

“We are incredibly excited to open our doors and bring high-quality concierge emergency care to Green Bay and Fox Valley.  I look forward to providing efficient, patient-centered, and comprehensive care to all in the community,” said Michael Hoks, MD, Emergency Medical Physician at Green Bay ER & Hospital. “We strongly believe that our patients will feel the significant benefits and difference with this style of emergency care.”

The neighborhood hospital’s advanced technology and expert staff are bringing the best-in-class emergency room services with six inpatient rooms and eight ER beds as the first micro-hospital providing innovative care in Wisconsin. The 21,389-square-foot state-of-the-art facility with an onsite laboratory features high-tech testing capabilities with MRIs, CT scans, X-rays, and Ultrasounds that offer same-day scheduling and quick results.

In comparison to the woes of traditional ER systems, patients will be met with the convenience of emergency care in the comfort of a pleasant environment with friendly faces, a short wait, and ample one-on-one time with a physician. No matter the injury or illness a patient presents, Green Bay ER & Hospital is equipped to examine and treat patients efficiently and effectively.

“I am thrilled to share this facility with the community. It’s important for patients to know that they have options when it comes to emergency care,” said Michelle Petersen, MSN, NP, Chief Nursing Officer at Green Bay ER & Hospital. “Our facility bills in network for all commercial insurances, offers great cash rates, and our board-certified physicians are prepared for all emergency needs.”

The highly skilled team at Green Bay ER & Hospital is thrilled to serve the community and become the go-to neighborhood ER and hospital built on the mission of excellent patient-centered care. The facility will offer concierge-level emergency care 24/7, 365 days a year, without the wait.
