We seek a dedicated Radiology Technologist to operate our X-ray equipment and capture high-quality diagnostic images. The ideal candidate will be responsible for patient positioning, equipment maintenance, and ensuring strict compliance with hygiene and infection control protocols. The Radiology Tech will also monitor patients during procedures for adverse reactions to contrast agents.

Responsibilities:

  • Position patients accurately for xray to target specific body areas.
  • Regular warm-up procedures should be performed on equipment
  • Sterilize and maintain radiologic equipment to uphold patient safety standards.
  • Interpret and follow the physician’s written instructions accurately.
  • Assess films for technical quality and report any inconsistencies or deficiencies.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and provide reassurance, ensuring a comfortable experience throughout the process.
  • Monitor patients for allergic reactions or complications and respond appropriately.
  • Maintain an inventory of radiologic supplies and report shortages or needs to the supervisor.

Required Training and Qualifications:

  • One year of experience is preferred.
  • One year of experience in an emergency room (ER) hospital setting is preferred.
  • Associate degree or equivalent from an accredited two-year college or technical school, along with one year of related experience and training.
  • Certifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) and BLS (Basic Life Support) from the American Heart Association.
  • Must be aware of potential exposure to body fluids and infectious diseases.

Skills and Qualities:

  • Strong technical proficiency in operating X-ray equipment and related technology.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and medical staff.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach in dealing with patients.
  • Ability to stay current with advances in radiologic technology and protocols.
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills for evaluating images and ensuring quality.

Frustrated by the current state of emergency care, our founding physicians sought to solve the issues that are typical of large, congested hospitals. We seek an energetic, passionate, client-driven ER Registered Nurse responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care in the emergency care setting, including neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. In the Registered Nurse’s professional practice, they are responsible for participating in and maintaining quality, cost-effectiveness, and customer relations.

Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care / Testing: Provides patient care to all ages safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively. Ability to perform head-to-toe assessments and psych-social assessments on all patients and perform reassessments as per departmental policy—the ability to prioritize needs based on assessments. Accurately assigns the five (5) level triage categories to ensure timely and appropriate patient care.
  • Supervision: Supervise ER Techs, Radiology/CT Techs, and other support personnel assigned to the Emergency Department. Medication: Maintains current knowledge of drugs and uses the five (5) rights of medication administration.
  • Communication: Communicates with patients, families, physicians, and other departmental personnel courteously and professionally.
  • Cleanliness: Maintains a clean working environment.
  • Staff Development: Maintains current licensure. Participates in continuing education through training and educational programs. The Registered Nurse will participate in monthly staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
  • Performs other duties, tasks, and projects as management assigns.

Job Type: Full-Time Nights

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of Emergency Room or Critical Care experience.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Licensure with the State Board of Nurse Examiners for their state.
  • Current BCLS/CPR, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC preferred
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.

You will ensure that incoming patients are stabilized, with no immediate dangers caused by their current conditions, and perform various tests and follow-ups to make each treatment effective.

Essential Functions:

· See and evaluate patients in a concierge style.

· Independent contractor/1099 status, malpractice included.

· The administrative support team is always present.

Minimum Qualifications:

· MD or DO (Required).

· Board Certified / Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
